To put it in Western currency, $40, so it's not much. However, this contradicts industry expectations because analysts have estimated that the 2020 model will cost ₩0.05 more than its predecessor, no less.

The price decline was partly due to lower demand expectations due to the 19th COVID epidemic. But that is not all. Last year, the airline offered a large grant to the Note10 duo (up to ₩0.7 million to cover most of the costs). This year, subsidies will be lower, which means buyers must pay more in advance.

Initially, Note10 was $950 in the US and €950 in Europe, Note10 plus $1,100, and €1,100, respectively. Naver's report does not clarify whether the discount will apply to foreign markets, but we can see that this price follows the trend in prices in Samsung's domestic market.

Samsung reportedly expects sales of the Galaxy Note20 series to be lower, even at lower prices. This is due to the fact that the sale of the S20 series is also influenced by the buyer's financial uncertainty.

Duo Note20 (along with Galaxy Fold 2 and Z Flip 5G) will be presented at the Unpacked online event on August 5. It is hoped that banknotes will be ordered in advance soon afterward and will be commercially available on August 21 (folding may be a little late on the market).
