Redmi's general manager has just angered brand fans that the company will launch a surprise device this month, but a well-known technician quickly revealed the company's plans. According to the so-called digital chat station on Weibo, Redmi will announce Redmi 10X, which will be renamed the Redmi Note 9 for the Chinese market, Redmi 9, 10 or an unnamed Redmi phone from the MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset.

In retrospect, we recall a report that claimed Redmi planned to release the cheapest 5G smartphone, and even though Intel was for the Redmi K30i, we suspected it was the same cellphone.

And seeing how Dimensity 800 is one of the cheapest 5G compatible chipsets doesn't sound too far. Rumor has it that the cellphone will cost around $225 or ¥1,599 which is aroud ₦87750 in Nigeria currency.

However, this will be a happy month for Redmi. So we can just sit and wait and see how many cellphones the company will issue and which Krone will adopt the cheapest 5G phone. According to Digital Chat Station, all the phones listed above are ready to be published. However, as expected, the company can share it for better media coverage.
